Fort Wayne, Indiana (January 14, 2025)- 3Rivers Credit Union, today announced that it has hired Gautam Borooah as Chief Growth Officer, a new position at the credit union. This appointment will accelerate growth by delivering on the promise of providing members with superior products and services that meet and exceed their expectations. 

Mr. Borooah will bring his extensive experience in driving profitable growth in financial services to lead Marketing, Digital Experience, and Business Intelligence / Analytics at 3Rivers. Gautam joins 3Rivers after senior leadership roles at Bright Light Capital and Ygrene Energy Fund, both in the home improvement industry. Prior to his role as Chief Growth Officer at Ygrene, Gautam spent 16 years at Synchrony Financial/GE Capital, where he led award-winning programs for multiple high-value partners like Sam’s Club and HBC (Canada). Gautam also led an $11 billion portfolio of middle-market clients in the home improvement, HVAC, home furnishing, power sports, luxury, and other lifestyle industries. Gautam was recruited to GE Capital after 8 years in Citigroup across multiple Product Management and Marketing roles in student loans and mortgages, to engineer GE’s entry into the Home Equity market.

Mr. Borooah has an MBA (Beta Gamma Sigma), with concentrations in Marketing and Finance, from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Commerce, with Honors in Financial Accounting, from St. Xavier’s College in Kolkata, India.
