President/Chief Executive Officer

Position Summary

UT Federal Credit Union seeks a dedicated, growth-minded executive to lead the credit union as the next President/Chief Executive Officer.  Collaborating with the Board of Directors, this executive will be responsible for enhancing a member centric culture, maintaining the credit union’s financial health and stability, and for ensuring conformance with all applicable policies, procedures, and state and federal laws.  The ideal candidate will be very engaged with the staff and community, have excellent leadership, people, and communication skills, be a team builder, and lead organizational change while building consensus. A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or related field, is required; CPA or MBA is preferred. A minimum of ten years of executive experience within the credit union field or retail banking industry also is required.

UT Federal Credit Union was established in May 1969 when a small group of University of Tennessee employees came together to secure a safe place to manage funds. Over 55 years later, the credit union has undergone many changes. Initially serving UT employees, UTFCU now operates under a community charter, welcoming anyone to join.
