Vice President of Finance and Business Intelligence
Position Summary
Gulf Winds Credit Union is seeking a Vice President of Finance and Business Intelligence to join their team. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, this role will oversee the Finance and Business Intelligence functions. The Vice President will compile and analyze the credit union's financial performance against the budget and historical benchmarks, offering recommendations to management for achieving strategic objectives while holding investment authority. Additional responsibilities include managing the Financial Information System, which encompasses the Core Accounting System, Financial Management System, and automation workflows. The Vice President will proactively develop reports and present insights to executive management. This role will also involve planning, directing, and maintaining Asset-Liability Management (ALM) reporting, liquidity programs, forecasting, budgeting, and enhancing organizational profitability. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, along with at least five years of related ALM experience; a Master's degree is preferred. A minimum of seven years of experience in financial institution accounting, forecasting, and financial analysis is required, along with a working knowledge of GAAP and NCUA regulations and reporting. Experience with auditors and/or examiners is necessary, and familiarity with the Axiom financial suite is preferred.
