Position Summary

Aero Financial Credit Union is seeking a Vice President of Finance to join its management team. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this role is responsible for managing and directing the functions of the Accounting and Finance department while overseeing the credit union’s financial risks, including Asset & Liability Management (ALM), Interest Rate Risk (IRR), and Liquidity Risk. The Vice President of Finance will provide strategic oversight of investment, liquidity, cash management, financial statement preparation, budgeting, profitability, financial analysis and month end closing.  Strong accounting skills will ensure effective reporting to management, committees, and the Board of Directors. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related business field, along with a CPA or CMA designation, is required. Candidates should have 8–10 years of relevant financial experience, preferably within a financial institution, including 3–5 years of supervisory experience. Experience required in Excel, Word, Adobe PDF is required.   Knowledge of database management, SQL, Tableau or Snowflake preferred.
