2018 Board Survey Results
The D. Hilton Associates Board Survey is a biennial research initiative and the 2018 Board Survey represents the third installment of this study.
The 2018 Board Survey Results discusses the latest in governance practices among Boards of Directors at credit unions across the country, including data on board recruiting, volunteer compensation, board self-evaluations, and how Boards are addressing incentive plans for executives.
On April 3, 2018, D. Hilton Associates mailed the six page 2018 Board Survey to the chief executive officers and board chairpersons of 1,588 credit unions nationwide with assets over $100 million. D. Hilton Associates provided recipients with the option to complete the survey online if preferred.
Upon the survey deadline, D. Hilton Associates received responses from 634 individual credit unions, for an overall response rate of 40%, yielding a confidence level of 95% (±3.0%).
